We had our wedding at Wellspring Spa and it couldn't have been more perfect. You can really see and feel the effort that Sunny has put in over the years to make this space feel one with the earth and truly magical. As a secular couple, the ceremony space felt sacred in it's own way, especially in a natural sense. It was a very special ceremony where I believe all of our guests felt the power of nature in the space. The cabins are all gorgeous and the property has so many trails to get lost on and discover new, magical spots that were very thoughtfully created to encourage communal moments with nature and solitude. This place became more to us than just a wedding venue and it took our ceremony to a whole other plane that was incredibly special. Thank you to Sunny, Diane and Christina for your hard work.

Wellspring Spa is a place of magic, where both the body and soul can rest and rejuvenate, and a childlike whimsy comes over you. While here, you will feel like you are in a fairytale. The grounds are cozy, with a dozen unique log cabins tucked away in the woods where you can live out your dream (or at least mine) of slow living in a small cabin in the lush PNW forest. Tenaya cabin (a "classic cabin") had the most luxurious bathtub under a skylight, a kitchen, and a wood stove which gave it such a lovely atmosphere. My partner and I loved eating breakfast out on the porch on the swinging bench, surrounded by the sights, smells, and sounds of nature. If you are feeling like treating yourself extra, you can reserve time in the outdoor cedar hot tubs and saunas, which are as much a dream as they sound. You can also request a massage, or do a a spa package with all three. There are a few miles of trails that leave from the main cabin area that bring you through mossy woods and to various benches where you can enjoy beautiful hidden gems of waterfalls and fern covered understories tucked back in the woods. There are also little statues of squirrels with spectacles and little doors placed in tree nooks which gave it such a whimsical atmosphere. I wish I could live in this place, it is completely unique and so special. Thank you to the wonderful owner Sunny who has clearly poured her heart and soul into this incredible place where time stands still and you can breathe deep, tending to your heart and soul.

I stayed in the Trollhaven cabin and it was so cute and comfy. I only stayed one day, but I will most likely be returning in the future for hopefully a longer stay. There’s no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, only body wash, so I suggest bringing your own if you plan to shower there. It felt so tranquil and relaxing there. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere nice to stay that really makes you feel like you’re in the woods, while still having the luxury of certain amenities.

Set in the lush green forest outside of Mount Rainier National Park, Wellspring Spa provides opportunities to rest, rejuvenate and settle into the magic of nature. Stroll upon the forested trails. Meander around the labyrinth. Soak in a hot tub. Commune with friends and family under the gazebo and around the fire. Whether on solo retreat, honeymoon, traveling with friends or family, Wellspring offers a sense of renewal for those who choose to slow down embraced by the natural beauty which surrounds you here.

Sonny and her staff maintain a wonderful woodland resort that allows for guests to unplug and unwind. I fully enjoyed my stay at this resort and I plan to return in the future to unwind and connect with nature. I stayed in The Nest and I enjoyed the skylight above the bed along with numerous trips to the sauna and hot tub.

Super dreamy spot right outside Mt. Rainier National Park! We stayed in the Turiya cabin which meant we had private access to the hot tub/sauna 8pm - 10:30am. Everything was really nice, we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely magical! Spent a life-changing week here at a Mindfulness Retreat for wildland firefighters. Everywhere you look you will find hiden treasures in trees and along the trails. There are beautifully decorated cabins with wood stoves, saunas and hot tubs under the stars, seating areas all around the property for conversation or quiet contemplation, a labyrinth and beautiful hiking trails along the river, a large yurt for gatherings and so much more. Thank you Sonny (and your incredible staff) for creating such a special place and for welcoming firefighters in for community and healing. I am grateful for you.

I spent an amazing long weekend at Wellspring and had a really wonderful time. I came in expecting a natural, rustic, in the woods experience and that's what we got. The property is beautiful and you really feel like you're part of nature rather than just visiting it. The owner/manager Sunny is just amazing and was very receptive to suggestions and it's clear she loves this place and the people she invites to Wellspring and wants to keep making even better than it already is. We'll be looking for any excuse to return!
